Tournament rules

1. REGISTRATIONS AND WITHDRAWALS:

1. Only those who have submitted the registration form and paid the relevant fees in a timely manner may participate in the tournament;
2. Participants who withdraw from the tournament after registrations are closed and before 31st July 2024, will be charged €50.00 and the remaining participation fee will be refunded;
3. Participants who withdraw from the tournament between 1 st August and 15th August 2024, will be charged €100.00 and the remaining participation fee will be refunded;
4. Participants who withdraw from the tournament starting from 16th August 2024, will not receive a refund of the paid fee.

2. EQUIPMENT CHECK:

1. During the technical opening meeting of the tournament, all players must show their bats and gloves to the Referees;
2. Bats and gloves will be measured according to the standards set by the international technical regulations and validated;
3. Before the start of each match, Referees will check for total absence of light in the blackout masks and stamps on the game bats.

3. MATCHES:

1. All matches will be played best of 3 sets, except for men's and women's quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals, which will be played best of 5 sets;
2. All matches will be numbered with a specific schedule, spaced 30 or 45 minutes apart depending on the tournament stages, and played without time
limits;
3. If a player is more than 5 minutes late for the scheduled game time, the match will be awarded to the player present, who will be awarded 1 point;
4. If both players are late, 0 points to each of them.

4. SCORING:

1. A player who wins the match in 2 sets to 0 or in 2 sets to 1 will be awarded 1 point;
2. A player who loses the match 1 set to 2 or 0 sets to 2 will be awarded 0 points.

5. TIEBREAKERS BETWEEN PLAYERS:

In the group rankings, in case of a tie in points among multiple players, the following criteria will be decisive:

1. Head-to-head matches among players with equal points;
2. Considering head-to-head matches, in case of further tie, the set difference between players with equal points will be considered;
3. Considering the set difference, in case of further tie, the difference between points scored and points conceded among players with equal points will be calculated;
4. Considering the difference between points scored and points conceded, in case of further tie, the player with the highest number of points scored in all group matches among players with equal points will be considered;
5. Considering the highest number of points scored, in case of further tie, the age of the players with equal points will be considered, with the youngest becoming the top-ranked player, and the oldest in ascending order.

6. ACEPTANCE OF REGULATIONS:

1. Participation in the tournament implies the implicit acceptance of the rules of these regulations by all players, coaches, and accompanying persons.

Regolamento del torneo

1. ISCRIZIONI E RITIRI:

1. potranno partecipare al torneo soltanto coloro che avranno inviato il modulo di iscrizione e bonificato le relative quote in tempo utile;
2. a coloro che si dovessero ritirare dal torneo una volta chiuse le iscrizioni ed entro il 31 luglio 2024, saranno trattenuti 50,00€ e restituita la restante quota di partecipazione;
3. a coloro che si dovessero ritirare dal torneo nel periodo compreso tra il 1 agosto e il 15 agosto 2024, saranno trattenuti 100,00€ e restituita la restante quota di partecipazione;
4. a coloro che si dovessero ritirare dal Campionato a partire dal 16 agosto 2024, non verrà restituita la quota versata.

2. Controllo equipaggiamento di gioco:

1. durante la riunione tecnica di apertura del torneo, tutti i giocatori dovranno far visionare agli Arbitri le palette e i guanti con le quali giocheranno il torneo;
2. le palette e i guanti verranno misurate secondo gli standard previsti dal regolamento tecnico internazionale e convalidate;
3. prima dell’inizio di ogni partita gli Arbitri controlleranno la totale assenza di luce nelle maschere oscuranti e il timbro sulle palette da gioco.

3. Partite:

1. tutte le partite verranno disputate al meglio dei tre set, tranne i quarti di finale, le semifinali e le finali maschili e femminili, che verranno disputate al meglio dei cinque set;
2. tutte le partite verranno numerate con apposito calendario, distanziate di 30 o 45 minuti l’una dall’altra a seconda delle fasi del Campionato e giocate senza limiti di tempo;
3. in caso di ritardo di un giocatore oltre i 5 minuti sull’orario di gioco previsto, la partita verrà aggiudicata a tavolino al giocatore regolarmente presente, al quale sarà assegnato 1 punto in classifica di girone;
4. in caso di ritardo di entrambi i giocatori, saranno assegnati 0 punti in classifica di girone a ciascuno di essi.

4. Punteggi:

1. al giocatore o alla giocatrice che vincerà la partita in 2 set a 0 oppure in 2 set a 1, verrà assegnato 1 punto;
2. al giocatore o alla giocatrice che perderà la partita 1 set a 2 oppure 0 set a 2, verranno assegnati 0 punti.

5. Parità di punteggio tra giocatori:

nelle classifiche all’interno di un girone, in caso di parità di punteggio tra più giocatori, saranno decisivi:

1. gli scontri diretti tra i giocatori a pari punti;
2. considerati gli scontri diretti, in caso di ulteriore parità, verrà conteggiata la differenza set tra i giocatori a pari punti;
3. considerata la differenza set, in caso di ulteriore parità, verrà calcolata la differenza tra i punti fatti e i punti subiti tra i giocatori a pari punti;
4. conteggiata la differenza tra i punti fatti e i punti subiti, in caso di ulteriore parità, sarà considerato il maggior numero di punti segnati in tutte le partite del girone, tra i giocatori a pari punti;
5. considerato il maggior numero di punti segnati, in caso di ulteriore parità, verrà considerata l'età dei giocatori a pari punti, dal più giovane che diventerà il primo classificato, al più anziano in ordine crescente.

6. Norme di rinvio:

per tutto quanto non previsto nel presente Regolamento, si dovrà fare riferimento agli specifici Regolamenti internazionali in vigore al momento dell’effettuazione del torneo.
